Restoring the façade of this historic structure was a mammoth
undertaking.

The Riverside Avenue elevation received a major facelift with help
from the National Park Service.

With the transformation nearly complete . . .

. . . the public can begin to enjoy . . .

. . . the elaborate architecture in its restored condition.

The sandstone was very heavy.

Many pieces had to be replaced.
